There is metered street parking nearby. You can pay at the pay box or via the ParkDetroit.us app, Zone 203.
There is free parking available on the west side of Milwaukee Avenue, near Yum Village restaurant and across from the post office.
There is free two-hour parking directly across the street from the salon, near the Hip Manic store.
There is a parking lot behind the salon for $6 CASH ONLY and price is subject to change based on the parking attendantd descretion.

This is the standard preparation unless you are specifically instructed otherwise by the stylist servicing you.
For loose hair:
Please arrive with your previous hairstyle taken down. We understand that natural hair tangles. However, excessively tangled hair, often due to poor condition or lack of a consistent trim schedule, will be subject to an additional detangling fee.For Microlocs & Sisterlocks :
Come with your hair freshly washed and no products in your hair. If it has been longer than eight weeks since your last maintenance appointment or shampoo, additional fees may apply to account for extra interlocking, or detox time.For traditional locs:
Come as you are. If it has been longer than eight weeks since your last maintenance appointment or shampoo, additional fees may apply to account for extra retwist, retie, interlocking, or detox time. -
The listed price is the base price. This price may increase depending on your hair’s length, density, and overall condition. Long hair, dense hair, or hair that has not been maintained regularly requires more time and product, which may result in a price adjustment. Please consult with your stylist for details.

We hold a card on file when you book your appointment. The card is not charged unless you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled service time or fail to show up.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may result in a charge ranging from $35 up to half of the base service price.
Same-day no-call, no-shows will be charged the full base price of the service.
There are no exceptions to this policy. Please notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid cancellation fees.

Some of our stylists do service children.
If your child is severely tender-headed or not comfortable in a salon setting, we do not recommend booking an appointment.
Please indicate in the “Notes” section of your appointment while booking whether the service is for a child (under the age of 18) so we can place you with the appropriate stylist.
A guardian is required to remain with the child for the entire duration of the service.
